Friday June 17
We started our morning with cooperative games in the classroom.
We read "Monkey's Missing Bananas" and talked about what subtraction means. We played a game with a partner with 5 bears and took turns hiding the bears and had to say how many were missing.
We went for a walk in our community. We stopped and played camouflage in the field. We stopped to watch the ducks at "Cattail Pond". We saw lots of birds and ducks.
We made our way to Teepee Forest and read the story, "Insect Detectives" and then took our clipboards into the forest to see what insects we could find. We wrote down the insects we saw and added tally marks every time we saw the same insect.
