Wednesday December 1
On Friday December 10th, both AM and PM kindergarten classes will attend school for the morning. For this activity we are looking for 2-3 parent volunteers from each class to join us from 9:00-10:15am. All volunteers must have a valid police screening on file with the school in order to be able to volunteer. All volunteers must wear a mask while working in the school. Please email your child's teacher if you are available to volunteer for this special activity by Friday December 3.
Thank you to everyone who wore festive hats or had festive hairdos! It was great to see so much Christmas spirit at EHS! Next Wednesday is festive sweater/shirt day.
We watched a story about Hanukka. We learned about what some families like to do during Hanukka. We wish any of our families who celebrate a Happy Hanukka.
Today at school it was writing Wednesday and we practiced writing a letter in our journal. Please ask your child who they wrote their letter to.
We are very lucky to have a classroom elf visit us in December. Our elf is a kindness elf and challenges us to make good choices at school. We brainstormed names for our elf and then voted. Please ask your child how we voted - we used something of ours to cast our vote. The AM class named their elf Snowflake and the PM class named their elf Candy Cane.
We continued to learn about bats and how they hibernate. We watched a super cool video of bats in a cave to watch as they hibernate. We practiced how to hibernate like a bat.
We had gym with Mr. Campbell and Mrs. Mask's PM class had music.
