Friday December 3

Today we learned about Frogs. We looked at books and found out new information about frogs. Ask your child what they learnedWe explored about frogs by playing in a water bin with frogs, insects and lily pads.

We went on a community walk to Teepee forest. We explored the forest with the sprinkle of snow and pretended we were bears getting our den ready for hibernation. We learned the game of camouflage and played many rounds. It was a beautiful day to be outside!

We played at centers.

Every Wednesday in December will be Spirit Days:

  • Dec. 8 - Festive shirt/sweater day or green and red day

  • Dec. 15 - Pajama Day

Eric Harvie families, we are calling on your kindness and generosity to support families in need during this Holiday Season. We are supporting 13 families from Colonel Fred J. Scott School and Eric Harvie Community. Each classroom will be assigned a family to support this season.

In the spirit of giving this holiday season, all staff at Eric Harvie School would like to thank families in advance for their thoughts and contributions! Thank you for making a family’s Holiday Season a little brighter!

Here is the link to find the list of the family your child's class is supporting. Make sure to look at the bottom and find your child's teacher. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13-EwhZhhQRm2DBb7P1ws_i18qFrlDw2gfa8-yEfLr3Y/edit#gid=0
