Tuesday September 21
Today was a great day at school! September 21st is International Peace Day. Kindergarten had the chance to sing "Peace in My Fingers" on the intercom to the rest of the kids in the school. We are great singers! Please try the song at home if you like! Peace In My Fingers
We read the story "The Peace Book" by Todd Parr and made a peace quilt. Please ask your child what peace looks like to them.
We talked about the number 2 and where in our world we see the number two and talked about pairs. We practiced writing 2 and did number 2 art.
Important note for Kindergarten meet and greet on September 24th. Additional time slots have been added to the conference manager. These new time slots are listed as "Mask #2 – Kindergarten Meet and Greet Sept 24". Please note that all 3 kindergarten teachers will be available at all 3 meet and greet times, choose the meet and greet session that is most convenient for your schedule.
Most classes had music with Mrs. Coulson. Please ask your child what they did in music. Mrs. Mask's PM class had gym.
