Friday October 29

We had fun seeing everyone dressed up in their costumes.  We had arrival centers and then did some Halloween art centers. We made paint chip halloween witches, shape bats, lacing pumpkins and spiders. It was fun to see everyone's creativity!

We read the story, "The Crankenstein" and  did our very own guided drawings of Frankenstein.

You can watch the story: Crankenstein

We played at centers.

We hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween. :)

Happy Hallowe'en !

If you would like to add some learning fun into Hallowe'en, here are some ideas below to do with your child.

1. Ask your child to sort their candy by size, shape, colour. type etc.

2. Have them count the number of each kind.

3. Have them count the number of pieces of candy in each small box.

4. Identify the letters on the package they know. Can they find the whole alphabet? Do they know the sound that the letters make?
